No win, no fee business rates review in London

The check is free. If a saving is confirmed in writing by the council, the fee is 10% of it. If nothing is saved, nothing is paid.

Straight answer: yes, we work on a no win, no fee basis, and the rate is 10% of the saving the council confirms in writing. There is no upfront fee, no retainer, no survey charge and no tie-in. Many providers charge 20–50% of the saving; the comparison is on how we charge.

How it works

  1. Look up your premises. Every retail, hospitality and leisure premises in London is already on this site, checked against the 2026 rating list and shown next to its neighbours on the same street. Free, no sign-up.
  2. Ask for the free check. One message with your address is enough to start. If a bill photo helps, we ask for it afterwards. We tell you whether anything looks worth pursuing — and if nothing does, we say so.
  3. Only then, a claim. Where a relief was missed, a multiplier was applied wrongly, or a valuation is out of line with the street, we put it to the council or through the Valuation Office’s Check and Challenge process and stay with it until the outcome is confirmed in writing.

What counts as a “win”

Money the council confirms in writing: a refund paid to you, a relief granted, or a reduction in what you are billed. Estimates and projections do not count. If it is not in writing from the council, there is no fee. Which period the fee applies to depends on the type of claim and is set out in the letter of engagement before you sign anything.

What no win, no fee does not mean

It does not mean every premises has a saving. On the real bills we check, most already carry at least one relief. It does not mean a guaranteed outcome: a challenge to a valuation can go down, stay the same, or in rare cases go up, and we tell you which risk applies before anything is submitted. And it does not mean pressure: we do not cold call and we have no telephone sales.

Is this legitimate?

A fair question for any no win, no fee service. Small business rate relief is a form on your council’s website and costs nothing to submit — where that is all you need, we say so and you keep the review.
